It’s so beautiful, I recommend it
Adds both a functional and elegant look to the camera. This should be standard issue on the Leica d-lux 8.
While it took two or three weeks to get to me I like the soft release button because it’s both concave and convex. It has a slight indentation in it for your finger to rest but it was also large enough that those of us were bigger fingers makes it feel comfortable. Companies support was good and responsive when I asked where the item was highly recommended

In simple design, you can find perfection. I was honestly surprised at how much the texture improved the feel and feedback. Now, without a doubt, I can focus and capture shots with amazing precision and sensation. I love how my Q3 is fully black on black with all the accessories and this button adds its own unique, minimalistic design that’s just beautiful to look at or play with. It may sound cheesy but I like to just to touch it. It came with a rubber o-ring which I didn’t think would make any difference in securing it but I was so wrong. I screwed it in and so far it’s rock solid. The original Leica cap I have already lost it twice. This is such a simple yet functional solution and it just works. This thing is damn good and I’m so glad I have it.

The feel is pleasant so I am upgrading to 4 stars, however please be aware the Air Clicker sticks up too much above the shutter release button (at least on M7). It would be better if it were shorter or sat flush with the top of the shutter release, so there’s no visible gap. As it is, it doesn’t look as good as in the advertisement photos.
The purpose made long thread for the Leica Q3 secures the soft release button very well and the button diameter is perfect for the Q3.
